this is a banner for the blog AI writing software

I am using an AI-powered content writing tool for this blog and it suggested the keyword ‘AI Writing Software’ in the first paragraph.

See, how smartly I have done it!!

Well, I am a technology enthusiast. During my days as a data science journalist, I have written oodles of articles on artificial intelligence.

It is fascinating to see AI making it possible for machines to learn, adjust, and perform like humans.

I remember writing a piece on humans teaching an AI to beatbox like a pro.

Award-winning beatboxer, Reeps One, and CJ Carr, programmer, Dadabots, taught a machine to mimic the human voice. They fed the machine with sample beatbox audio by Reeps One and the machine was trying to recreate the raw audio.

Like an embryo, the AI was developing its capabilities with each iteration. After 35,000+ iterations, it could beatbox like a pro; that too with the correct rhythm.

And guess what?

The AI was able to predict and create the next part of the track.

These are the type of advancements that makes me want to write more and more about AI.

And today, I have another such segment that artificial intelligence has invaded. We are talking about writing.

Yes, AI can now write. It’s officially the future!!

Just like the beatboxer machine, AI writing software can do a lot of things. In this article, I will cover some significant aspects of this sought-after technology.

The Topic at Hand

Lately, there’s one Facebook ad that is popping on my feed. In the beginning, I didn’t check.

But as I mentioned, it keeps popping (even now), so I thought let’s check it out. The ad is about Jarvis, an AI that writes copies.

I checked their website and did in-depth research. I won’t lie — it’s fantastic!!

Dave Rogenmoser, if you’re reading this, I have a little something to say.

You have built a hell of a tool. It is ridiculously fantastic. Should I worry about losing my job? Also, I hope your experience eating the beating heart of a King cobra was great!

But wait, this is not the software I am using in this article. You’ll get to know. Keep reading.

Anything can and will be automated with AI and writing is one of the latest segments that has witnessed AI’s advancements.

You might want to argue that machines can’t write better than humans. Well, that’s, of course, true; AI-powered content generation is formulaic most of the times.

However, today, the quality of AI-written content is high. Renowned media houses like The New York Times, Reuters, and Washington Post have also turned to AI-generated content.

I am assuming, people who aren’t hardcore techies are also reading this article. So, if you are at sixes and sevens, do not fret. I will go down to the basics and explain.

What Is an AI Writing Software?

An AI writing software is a tool powered by artificial intelligence (natural-language generation, to be precise) to create articles from a given keyword(s).

How Does It Work?

Natural-language generation (NLG) is a software process that turns data into a written narrative like humans. And it does this at a speed which is thousands of pages per second.

Simply put, it makes data more insightful and easier to understand for those who are not data experts.

How does NLG help in writing or producing content?

The end-user needs to feed the NLG with a defined format, template, or you can call it a narrative type. You can create your own format, or it might come predefined with the tool.

Further, it considers that format along with other additional information such as keywords and creates content. Be it a social media post, poetry, financial reports, personalized email, in-app messages, and more.

I could see the dream (or nightmare, maybe) of machine-generated writing have come a step closer while I was writing this article.

Top AI-Powered Content Generators You Must Try

Does all this information seem overwhelming? Are you in a pickle and don’t know whether the tools available in the market are worthy enough?

I am sure there are gazillion other things you might be thinking, which is of course, legit.

There are various AI content generators available, but not all of them work.

If you aren’t aware, many companies don’t have any sort of experience in working with artificial intelligence. But they still claim their products are equipped with AI. This is a different story. Will save this for some other day.

For now, let me list down some AI-based software that are no scam and work perfectly in producing content.

1. Jarvis

Jarvis is an artificial intelligence copywriting tool that helps in producing better marketing copies. However, its capabilities have advanced lately and are no more limited to writing marketing copies. The AI can also write blog articles, social media posts, sales letters, and books.

Beat that!!

On January 15, 2021, Jarvis was founded by Dave Rogenmoser, John Phillip Morgan, and Chris Hull in Austin, Texas. The company today has over 10,000+ customers who break through writer’s block to write content faster.

2. Wordtune

Built by AI21 Labs, Wordtune is an AI-based content writing software that is equipped with advanced language models. The tool understands the context and semantics of what you write and suggests ways to make your writing compelling and authentic.

Simply put, it is your AI-based writing companion which is much more than grammar checking and spelling fixes.

3. Writesonic

Writesonic is another top AI-powered content writing tool that is making big strides. It helps in writing blog posts, summarizing articles, drafting professional emails, generating marketing copies, rephrasing and rewriting content, and fixing grammatical errors.

How Writesonic works? All you have to do is enter the topic that you would like to write about and hit the “Generate” button. It is equipped with an expert understanding of the subject and can produce content in a conversational style that keeps readers engaged.

4. INK

And here comes my favorite — INK. This is the one I was talking about.

I have been using INK for quite some time now, and everything about it feels so right. And honestly speaking, it is like a real companion.

INK is a content technology company dedicated to the future of Content Performance Optimization (CPO). It was founded by Michael Umansky, Alexander De Ridder, and Gary Haymann,

INK’s proprietary, ground-up AI and real-time integrated platform bridge the gap between content creation and return on investment (ROI).

The AI writing software & the in-built SEO assistant helps in writing organic content in a much easier way. Not to mention, it also provides a huge potential to rank your content on the 1st page of Google.

Outlook

After this article on AI writing software, I am sure many are going to say that artificial intelligence (AI) will take away our jobs.

Also, throw questions at me.

Why am I listing AI writing tools? Being a writer yourself, why do you promote such tools?

Well, here’s my take.

Every single domain is evolving and turning to AI. I understand the surrounding panic completely.

BUT… AI is not going to take away jobs.

I mean, some jobs might fade or get displaced, but it will more likely change what human workers do.

Now, AI is just being a companion and making the job easier when it comes to writing. It will keep doing the same in the future as well.

We humans have our threshold, and we do feel the cognitive strain. You have to write, keep a check on the grammar, sentence formation, and there are SEO activities involved. It gets too hard to keep everything in your brain.

I have experienced it first-hand.

These AI writing software definitely takes some burden off. Now, instead of worrying about missing commas, I can think of the content more strategically. I can write better, informative pieces.

Addressing the elephant in the room, artificial intelligence and machine learning are useful, but they are definitely not perfect. At the end of the day, it’s human creativity that matters the most.
