Delhi-based mom and baby care brand, The Moms Co has raised $8 Mn Series B funding from Saama Capital, DSG Consumer Partners, along with angel investors.
Shripad Nadkarni, investor in Paper Boat and Epigamia, and Ashutosh Valani and Priyank Shah, founders of Beardo, also participated in the funding round.
According to the brand, it is going to utilize the funds to expand its product range, venture into newer aspects such as investing in tech capabilities and also add offline presence across India. Not to mention, it is also planning to launch the brand internationally over the course of two years.
“Over the last few months, we have seen moms re-evaluate their choices when it comes to the personal care products they use,” said Malika Sadani, Founder and CEO, The Moms Co.
“With this fundraiser, we will continue our purpose of helping moms with safe, natural effective solutions and are looking forward to expanding our mission with the next 5 Mn moms trying The Moms Co. and feeling the difference for themselves while taking care of the environment.”
The Moms Co has raised $10 million so far through investments. Despite the COVID-19 chaos, the startup has been on the track and now, the startup is looking forward to hitting ₹100 crores in sales run rate by March.
